We at Sloan’s Outdoor Survival Supply, Inc. like to pride ourselves on the functionality and customer satisfaction of the items we offer. We do offer a 30 day return, exchange, or refund on all items except for the following:
• Perishable goods such as foods, magazines, books.
• Healthcare related items; gauze, gauze wraps, ace wraps, medical sponges, dressings, surgical kits, sutures---- unless they are in original packaging. Individualized medicines cannot be returned, refunded, nor exchanged.
• Flammable items, such as fuel tabs, liquid fuel packs, etc.
• Sale items. Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can not offer you a refund or exchange
To be eligible for a return, 100% refund, or exchange your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer, unless other wise directed to do so!
Ok, so you want to return an item for a refund or exchange. What do you need to do?
1. Contact Dawn at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also text or call (724) 290-3803. If you do not receive an answer when calling, leave a message and we will get back to you within 24-48 hours. Please indicate when the best time to return your call is.
2. In the email or text to Dawn, please provide the following:
• Copy of the receipt or proof of purchase.
• Description of why you are returning the item.
• Desired results such as refund or an exchange.
• If you are requesting an exchange, please provide information in regards to the item you would like in exchange for the product you are returning, to include
o Name of Product
I contacted Sloan’s Outdoor Survival Supply, Inc. Now what do I do?
1. Wait for Dawn’s communication via email back to you. This will contain an authorization code for return and the address to return the item(s) to. You should receive this within 24-48 hours.
2. Once you have the confirmation number for authorization for return of the product, prepare the item(s) for shipment. Again the unused item(s) must be in the original packaging.
3. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
4. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
I shipped my item. What can I expect?
1. Depending on where you are shipping your item from and what carrier you use, it may take some time to reach us. However, once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund/ exchange.
We must inspect the product to ensure it is unused and its original packaging. If there is a fault in the manufacturing of the product, this too must be inspected so that we can contact the manufacturer and follow their protocols as well.
2. Once approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days, depending on your form of payment.
3. Please be patient when expecting a refund. If paying by credit card or debit card, please allow up to an additional 10 to 14 days for your refund to process. This may take your credit card company or bank additional processing time from the date we refund your money. Unfortunately, once we process the refund it is up to the credit card company and bank to further process it and credit it to your account.
4. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. However, you will receive a shipping confirmation for tracking purposes so that you can ensure shipment, know the estimated delivery date and time of your product(s) arrival.
I still have not received my refund. What do I do?
1. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
2. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
3. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
